Jumpin' Good Goat Dairy Tour Rules and Expectations

Thank you for joining a Jumpin’ Good Goat Dairy educational tour and, by doing so, supporting us and our mission!

Please be sure to follow these few rules while enjoying your visit:

  1. Stay with the group, if we are leaving an area we must all leave together, if you would like more time please let us know.

  2. No running on the farm, not only is it a safety hazard but it could scare the animals. This rule includes chasing animals in their enclosures.

  3. No climbing what so ever, this includes, but is not limited to, gates, fences, bales of hale, structures, etc.

  4. No entering gates without express permission or direction from a tour guide.

  5. If you are the last to enter an enclosure please close the gates behind yourself. This goes for employees as well.

  6. The goats will want to interact with you and it is okay for you to pick them up and hold them if they are of an appropriate size (kids vs. does) but please no rough housing with the animals. Eg. No ear or tail pulling, no shoving or dropping unnecessarily.

  7. Please wash your hands at the end of the tour. There is a designated hand washing stations by the store.

  8. If you have small children, you are responsible for their behavior, your tour guide is not.

In general, please be safe and, please, be kind to our animals and dairy property.

Any behavior deemed unsafe and/or hazardous will be cause for dismissal from the dairy premises.

Thank you and we hope you enjoy your time with us!
